B.S. in Environmental Science. Currently finishing an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence, with the graduate coursework below and the newer projects on this site pointed at the same thing: evaluation, of models and of the systems built around them. Everything on this site is self-initiated; none of it was built for a client or an employer.

- Metropolis-Hastings sampling, and diagnosing chain convergence with Gelman-Rubin R̂ across multiple chains.
- Markov chain theory: stationary distributions, first-step analysis, absorption probabilities.
- MDP policy evaluation: solving the Bellman expectation equation for a fixed policy.
The two modules share more machinery than the syllabus suggests. First-step analysis on an absorbing Markov chain solves (I − Q)x = b for the expected time to absorption. Policy evaluation for a fixed policy solves (I − γP)v = r for the value function. Different courses, same (I − M)⁻¹ inversion underneath.
